Virtual Communities

This area involves the development of technology and tools for building virtual communities of practice. Of particular interest is the notion of ‘electronic villages of local interest’ depicting unified collaborative spaces for virtual community practices. We have explored a variety of issues by constructing and building virtual communities in learning (ePP community based on Plone), toursim (eΚοΝΕΣ community based on Liferay) and music reherasal and improvisation.
