Lifelong Education

Since 2010, iSTlab has invested in developing targeted workshops for graduate students. These workshops were originally conceived as a preparatory step for students wishing to undertake industrial placement at the iSTLab combined with final year dissertation.

 

The success of these early attempts generated wider interest and in 2012 the iSTLab submitted a proposal for funding a workshop in the context of Google’s ‘Computer Science for High Schools’ initiative. These efforts will continue and in liaison with the School of Life Long Learning of the Hellenic Mediterranean University, there will be opportunities for professional training, summer schools and workshops covering a broad range of state of the art ICT technologies.
